Conner Cummins Out For Remainder of TT 2024
The Manxman has released a short statement confirming the news

54 years 8 monthsManx rider Conner Cummins has announced he is to withdraw from the remainder of the Isle of Man TT 2024 event.
The news was confirmed late last night by TT organisers, who described Cummin’s TT 2024 campaign with the Milenco by Padgett’s Team as “uncharacteristically poor”. Immediately before announcing the news, Cummins managed to bring his Padgett’s Honda CBR1000RR-R SP home in eighth place, around five seconds before Honda Racing’s John McGuinness. Cummins had retired from both the Monster Energy Supersport Race and the RST Superbike Race earlier in the week.
A statement released by the Manx rider, and released by TT organisers, reads:
“I have withdrawn from the 2024 Isle of Man TT Races with immediate effect, and will provide an update on my plans for the remainder of the season in the coming weeks. I’d like to thank all my sponsors and family for their continued support and wish my fellow competitors the best for the remainder of the TT.”
Cummins resigning from the Padgett’s squad for 2024 was a move that was supposed to bring home wins and podiums and marked his eighth year with the Batley-based team. Cummins’ strike rate in TT races since first racing in the event is good, with 12 podiums coming from just 16 race starts. It’s not clear whether this drop in form is partly to do with him pulling out of this year’s event.
Race Day 5 continues on the Isle of Man today, with both the Monster Energy Supersport TT Race 2 and PE Superstock TT Race 2 both scheduled to take place.
