If you’re a YouTuber who likes to film your weekly motorcycle jaunts and post about them, we highly advise you think about the content you are putting out there, after a motorcyclist in Denmark has gained 86 counts of reckless driving.

Riding extremely fast has a time and a place, as does stunt riding, but doing so on public roads is anything but the place to do it, nor is broadcasting it for the world to see. Yes, your friends might think it’s cool, but the police don’t and just like everyone else, they can come across such footage.

The police will and most importantly can use video content against you, but this rider in Denmark has seemingly chosen not to care about the potential consequences of his riding or broadcasting it. 86 counts of reckless driving have been collected by this one person and some of those include riding at very high speeds, and doing wheelies at high speed while endangering others.

But that’s not even the worst part of all of this. The rider in question is said to have hours upon hours of footage showing his exploits, which are in the hands of the authorities. The police did not come across this rider because of his online footage but instead stopped him. Here’s how they did it.

AP reports that in May the person in question was riding without a licence plate and without a valid motorcycle permit - two huge no-nos. The police subsequently pulled him over for those reasons before finding the camera footage. They reported that 25 of the charges were against the rider based on the footage alone. The rider in question still remains unidentified. Although they will no doubt be conspicuous by their absence and subsequent lack of said comment in the coming months.

Riding dangerously, in one way or the other, will always come back and bite you in the ass, so don’t be the next one riding in such a manner, let alone filming it as well.
