54 years 8 monthsTaking the Triumph Rocket III to the next level, the guys at The Bike Specialists have this stunning limited edition TFC (Triumph Factory Custom) inspired Rocket III which is fitted with a supercharger. The caveat though; it’s anything but cheap.
This is a 2019 Rocket III TFC of which only 750 were produced and every one of them has a unique premium TFC badge that includes a numbered edition plaque. This particular edition of the Rocket II TFC is only one of two in the UK due to its supercharger, so you’re going to need to be quick if you want this stunning 2,458cc beast.
It’s not a completely brand new bike and has covered 2,391 miles and comes with the full Triumph service history. The number of this bike is 327 and it comes fully equipped with a supercharger kit from TTS, plus a top-end rebuild with special cams and special pistons. The total price of all that came to £15k.
This is a rare bike before even discussing the supercharger, but that not-so-little addition means this truly exemplifies the name ‘Rocket’. According to The Bike Specialists, it makes between 329 and 342bhp at the rear wheel depending on weather and air pressure. If all that wasn’t enough, the bike has a custom Zard exhaust which cost £2,000 and also has several carbon upgrades and custom bar end mirrors. The standard parts that came with this bike are all available with the bike too.
The engine is an inline 3-cylinder, water-cooled, DOHC, has Showa front forks and a fully adjustable Showa rear suspension. The front and rear brakes are both Brembo as you would expect from a kitted out machine like this.
TTS Performance, who were in charge of supplying the supercharger, are not unfamiliar with such a project after recently fitting a Honda 250cc bike with a supercharger kit, which made the thing sound bonkers revved up to 18,000rpm. They also have a supercharged Harley-Davidson FXDR and Suzuki Hayabusa, among hundreds of other custom creations.
