The world's most powerful production motorcycle engine
Kawasaki's ZZR1400 isn't a motorcycle you'd associate with a lack of horsepower, however, owners of the earlier model did complain about a lack of bottom-end.
Kawasaki have worked to address this issue and in doing so have created the world's most powerful production motorcycle engine.
The engineers behind the project claim they weren't interested in outright horsepower figures and that in the quest to make the engine produce more torque and be more usable, they've ended up with the most powerful. Do you believe them? No, neither do I.

But 200bhp doesn't come without its problems; heating being a major issue. To address this, Kawasaki have made a number of changes but the most significant is their use of oil-injection - a first for any Kawasaki motorcycle.
